I use to be sharp and smart. I graduated early when i was 16 by getting much more credits. Anyway the last few years I seem to have lost my sharpness. But it comes and goes. Sometimes I am but most of the time seems like I am not. I am forgetful and sometimes something will be right in front of me but i cant find it. I also take 6 percoset a day so this may have something to do with it. Also I feel tired a lot.

‘Percocet, or oxycodone with acetaminophen, is a narcotic used to treat pain. The acetaminophen actually boosts the potency of the oxycodone and makes the drug all the more dangerous. It is habit-forming, so its use should be monitored closely by doctors. Percocet should not be used in instances where people are expected to be alert, mainly while driving and working. Percocet does have side effects, but it is usually tolerated quite well by users with minimal or no side effects as users become more used to the drug.

Allergic Reactions
Allergic reactions with Percocet include unexplained rashes, hives, swelling of the face, throat or mouth, and difficulty breathing, including wheezing. Itching must be accompanied by at least one or more other signs to be a true allergic reaction. According to an eMEDTV July 7, 2008 article, “Percocet Side Effects,” authors Kristi Monson, Pharm.D. and Arthur Schoenstadt, M.D., write that initial feelings of nausea, vomiting or itching may lead people to believe that they are allergic to Percocet. Elliott Smith died on October 21, 2003 in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles, California at age 34, from two stab wounds to the chest during an emotional fight with Jennifer Chiba. [16] According to her account, the two were arguing when she locked herself in the bathroom. Chiba heard him scream, and upon opening the door, saw Smith standing there with a steak knife in his chest. She pulled the knife out of him, after which Smith collapsed and she called 911. The time of death was listed at 12:18 PM. While originally reported as a suicide, the official autopsy report released in late December 2003 left the question of possible homicide open:
While his history of depression is compatible with suicide, and the location and direction of the stab wound is consistent with self-infliction, several aspects of the circumstances (as are known at this time) are atypical of suicide and raise the possibility of homicide. These include the absence of hesitation wounds, stabbing through clothing, and the presence of small incised wounds on the right arm and left hand (possible defensive wounds). Additionally, the girlfriend’s [Jennifer Chiba’s] reported removal of the knife and subsequent refusal to speak with detectives are all of concern.

According to the coroner’s report, the alleged suicide note, written on a Post-it, read, I’m so sorry – love, Elliot. God forgive me. The misspelling of “Elliott” was later acknowledged as a mistake on the part of the coroner. Robin Peringer, one of the singers few close friends towards the end of his life, says that Smith was a “cutter”, which would help explain the “possible defensive wounds.” Fritz Michaud, an engineer during the Basement sessions, claimed that “Elliott literally wouldn’t have been caught dead without his shirt on,” possibly explaining why the stab wounds penetrated his shirt (something extremely uncommonly seen in stabbing suicides).

His death has not been officially declared a suicide, and the investigation into his death continues, although almost no new information at all has publicly come to light since 2003.

Question by Cindy: How do I convince my husband that I need inpatient rehab for alcoholism? He insists that it won’t help me.?
Because I tried outpatient rehab once and didn’t stick with it, he is positive that “rehab” of any sort would be a useless waste of money. I keep thinking of all the money I currently spend on wine…. This has been going on for three years, ever since I had gastric bypass and could no longer fulfill my food addiction. I apparently just replaced that addiction with the addiction to alcohol. ANY help would be appreciated!

I’m not really sure about the difference between the two, but my dad used to be an alcoholic before he was told he wouldn’t make it past 39 if he kept drinking. He has to take liver pills now.
